Resettlement can be a long and difficult process for refugees, once the process ends their new life begins, and for those who have arrived in our locality we want to help in any way possible. We extend our sympathies towards their bravery and endurance.
Relocating is a hard process for anyone, for refugees it can be especially challenging. Resettlement in a new country creates a host of challenges, from language barriers to the adjustment in lifestyle; the mental strains can create a struggle. This is why we have initiated a voucher program that will offer refugees the opportunity to stop in our Thrift Shop and make selections to suit their needs from the inventory available. Inspired by our warehousing voucher program in Idlib we have extended the offer here in our Norristown, PA shop of a $100.00 voucher granted per person as often as once a month.
We also offer coaching and mentorship to help provide resources for future planning and familiarization to our area. Whether it might be help setting up ESL classes, learning about our areas houses of worship, or making new friends. We want you to know that we care about you!
