“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
- Vincent Van Gogh
With the assistance of government entities who provide entry to our courageous artists who volunteer, we have been able to visit displaced refugees in camps and host Mindful Art Therapy workshops.
Our past and continuous support in offering refugees a platform to express themselves freely through art has proven to be an effective tool to help them in developing a sense of empowerment, help relieve stress, and improve anxiety.
A great component of this process is when we can collect the completed artwork of refugees and sell them at auction to fundraise. When possible, the proceeds are redirected to the creator of the artwork and the reaction is always exciting and a huge surprise!
We continue to collect in-kind art supplies to host workshops, or ship, please consider contributing to our Mindful Art Therapy initiative in any capacity.
