Humanitarian Aid in Yemen and to Protect the Displaced Citizens of Yemen

Due to the ongoing civil unrest in Yemen, many innocent civilians have been forced to flee their home in the Yemen. We encourage the worldwide community to advocate for the protection of Yemeni’s who are in their homeland as well as those who have relocated to neighboring countries.

During this seven-year-old conflict between the government’s rivalry of power the people of Yemen have suffered what is often referred to as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, encompassing widespread hunger, disease, and even attacks on civilians.

Since the start of the crisis, 24.1 million people, approximately 80% of Yemen’s population, are in immediate need of humanitarian assistance.

We are urging our local and national communities to ask members of Congress to work towards passing policies that will aid Yemeni people during their time of uncertainty. By asking your local representative what they are doing and urging them to act favorably towards the needs of Yemenis, you are advocating towards a resolution in support of essential change to assist in their well-being and future livelihood.
